The challenge

Short-circuited reporting due to fragmented, isolated data

DynaGrid wanted to use best-of-breed software and hardware for their fleet operations. The only issue with this strategy is that the data is siloed. The customer's main objective was to find assets that were either underutilised at certain projects, track operator behaviours, track fuel usage, and find solutions for predictive and better maintenance practices.

The solution

Steering out of silos and into smart maintenance

Fleetyr created a daily ingestion of telematics, fuel, and maintenance data from DynaGrid's many technologies. This data was then presented in our Fleetyr dashboards to show assets that were underutilised based on idle to engine hour %, external device engagements, and fuel economy.

We also combined their multiple telematics providers' fault codes into one place so the maintenance teams could easily find potential major breakdown opportunities in the fleet and get them into the workshop before major repairs were needed.

Additionally, Fleetyr pushes telematics, fault, inspection and fuel data sources into DynaGrid's fleet maintenance platform to trigger workflows that are maintenance-related.
